Arthritis- Mobility Issues with Your Dog

We hate seeing our dogs suffer. They can’t tell us where it hurts or how badly it feels. It effects their mobility and can effect behavior. If you don’t feel well, have constant pain you might be grumpy, lose sleep because of pain and it effects the quality of your life. You can make decisions to adopt a healthy diet and take supplements. Your dog can’t tell you but you’ll know by his behavior and movement.

Unfortunately, osteoarthritis is a progressive disease and there is no known cure. Preventing the development of osteoarthritis through diet, exercise, and the use of protective joint supplements is the best way to keep your dog's joints healthy.”

For 18 years we’ve provided long term boarding for thousands of dogs. Many have mobility issues and behaviors because of this. If a dog is in training, has reactivity or separation anxiety we immediately start to work on inflammation. Eight times out of ten we make significant improvement.

The steps I’m outlining is exactly what we’ve done for hundreds of dogs. If you follow the steps exactly you’ll definitely see improvement.

It’s hard for dogs with severe arthritis to exercise however movement is important. When you start this program go slow. Give them time to feel better. Short slow walks.

Once your dog is feeling better increase walking time. Be consistent with exercise.

If your dog is overweight this can cause inflammation. It’s important to get their weight down. It’s better for your dog to be thinner if there’s mobility issues.

If weight is an issue I recommend Acana Fit & Light formula.

If you’re dog isn’t overweight feed grain free Acana Singles. Buy a few smaller bags and rotate the meats.

Digestive Health

Poor digestive health can cause severe inflammation. It also makes the it difficult for the gut to absorb the nutrients your dog needs.

For two weeks take their diet really clean with just cooked chicken or meat, some cooked vegetables such as broccoli, finely chopped romaine, a little raw organic sauerkraut. After two weeks you can follow the diet we use at the farm.

What I recommend Petandim - A very important supplement

Dogs naturally produce nfr2 however …
Nrf2 pathway in your dog is compromised by free radicals, environmental exposure, over vaccinating and medications (antibiotics) This has been proven in clinical trials to reduce oxidative stress dramatically. (In two weeks!) Oxidative stress has been linked to thousands of disease processes and aging itself.
By activating a unique cellular pathway, Petandim helps your pet make more of their own antioxidants, helping them to put out the free radical fire raging on the inside.
Petandim is designed to:
* Reduce or completely eliminate age-dependent oxidative stress caused by free radicals.
* Support optimal brain, skin, and eye function.
* Promote a shinier coat.
* Support normal joint function, mobility, and flexibility.
* Promote awareness, cognitive function, and well-being.
Petandim’s Formulation is Derived From Mother Nature.
* Turmeric Extract (rhizome) – A bioactive compound that offers innumerable health benefits for your dog.
* Milk Thistle Extract (Seed) – Offers proven liver support. Milk Thistle is a powerful liver detoxifier!
* Ashwagandha Extract (Root) – The benefits are impressive. This root improves thyroid function, supports the adrenal glands, and maintains health cortisol levels.
* Green Tea Extract (Leaf) – Provides support for healthy blood pressure, excellent for skin and a healthy coat. Also promotes heart and brain health. (Wow!)
* Bacopa Extract (Whole plant) – Helps your pet better manage stress. Supports memory, improves concentration, alertness, focus, and digestive health.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Type II Chicken Sternum Collagen. Canine Health’s unique formulation uses marine sources for Omega-3 Fatty Acids and EPA. Petandim is also an excellent source of DHA, which is essentially absent from most canine diets.
A great article from a natural vet posted on Dogs Naturally Magazine. She’s far more savvy than I am on the scientific benefits of activating nfr2.
It goes into great detail why this supplement is so very important for all life stages.
Wherever you buy it (only from a distributor please to avoid counterfeiting) I urge you to give this to your dogs.
I do hope you consider using my link because all commission goes to our nonprofit to help people and pets. Costs you no extra

Large dogs need two bottles. Even 60.00 a month for such an important supplement is cheap for its benefits.
I take two Protandim a day (same company) for two years now with excellent benefits. There is a money back guarantee if you’re not happy. But I know you’ll be thrilled with the results.
A great article on NFR2 and inflammation
